For example, I am kind of a cell phone geek. I worked in cell phones for almost 5 years so I know cell phones inside and out. The way this plays out is that I find cell phones on Craigslist, friends, family, or whoever I talk to that has cell phones for sale or that they just don't want anymore and I buy them. Now most of the time it's good to resell on Craigslist because there are no fees. However, older phones have a smaller market, some models may not sell well in your area, or there may be to much competition or not nearly enough traffic on Craigslist in your area. In these instances it's best to sell on eBay or even eBay Classifieds. I guess what I am saying is this, if your in to computers then find them wherever, garage sales, craigslist, stores even, wherever. This is now your product source. Many times when people find out your buying and selling they all of a sudden have products for you to sell. Peter,

I never was able to find a good source of good products to sell that would make a good profit. After I had sold all the stuff in my house that I didn't need any longer, I kind of ran out of ideas. There are extremely cool, but for sure, a bit pricy. You seem to have to search hard on e-bay for a good deal these days. I'm embarrassed to admit that I've done WAY more buying on ebay than selling, but your breakdown of the process may change that.
