Peter,

The products I sell are whatever I am into. For example, I am kind of a cell phone geek. I worked in cell phones for almost 5 years so I know cell phones inside and out. The way this plays out is that I find cell phones on Craigslist, friends, family, or whoever I talk to that has cell phones for sale or that they just don't want anymore and I buy them. Now most of the time it's good to resell on Craigslist because there are no fees. However, older phones have a smaller market, some models may not sell well in your area, or there may be to much competition or not nearly enough traffic on Craigslist in your area. In these instances it's best to sell on eBay or even eBay Classifieds.

I guess what I am saying is this, if your in to computers then find them wherever, garage sales, craigslist, stores even, wherever. This is now your product source. Many times when people find out your buying and selling they all of a sudden have products for you to sell.

The hardest thing I've found- selling on ebay - is coming up with good products to sell. I never was able to find a good source of good products to sell that would make a good profit. After I had sold all the stuff in my house that I didn't need any longer, I kind of ran out of ideas.

So - have any sure money making ideas of things to sell on ebay?

My wife bought me a couple of cool goblets (which I collect) from e-bay this week. There are extremely cool, but for sure, a bit pricy. You seem to have to search hard on e-bay for a good deal these days.

THANKS TAM!!!

I spent a year doing a decent amount of selling in my free time and learned most lessons the hard way. I would encourage you to sell more, but also be creative in where and how you sell. I personally think eBay is getting kinda pricey, but it has the biggest buying market around, so for now I will deal with it.

Thanks you for your comments on the blog, I am still very new to using self hosted WordPress and I still have a lot of design and and integration things that need to get done.

Outstanding article brother! I'm embarrassed to admit that I've done WAY more buying on ebay than selling, but your breakdown of the process may change that. My wife does quite a bit of selling, so between your step by step instructions, and her trials, we should be good.

Looks like you've got a nice blog going here! But no advertising?
